The Madrid-Barajas airport is located 12 kilometers (7.45 miles) northeast of the city of Madrid. It is well connected to the city thanks to an excellent public transport network. You can get to downtown in 15 minutes.

Spanish Academy Paraninfo is easily accessible thanks to its numerous connections with public transport:

Subway

• Argüelles station: lines 3, 4 and 6.
• Moncloa station (200 metros, 220 yards): lines 3, 4 and 6.

Buses

• Princesa-Altamirano stop: lines 1, 44, C2 and 133.
• Princesa-Hilarión Eslava stop: lines 1, 44, C1 and 133.

Parking in Madrid

The parking area around the academy is separated in green and blue marks.

The green spaces are designed mainly to local residents, visitors can park, but with limited time of 1 hour and a greater rate than in the blue.

The blue zone is designated for visitors. The rate is lower than in green spaces with a maximum parking time of 2 hours, renewable. When parking in blue areas, residents have the same limitations and the same rates as visitors.
